Spooler FASTP Network Print Processes Manual — 427528-006

FASTPTCP Event Messages

proc-name

is the process name of the FASTPTCP process.

device-name

is the Spooler device name.

Cause.

Bit 1 (%40000) was specified for the Spooler DEV PARM attribute, but the

FASTCNFG or FASTKCON DEVICE entry did not specify a SHADOW attribute.

Effect.

Bit 1 is ignored, and no shadow tracing is performed.

Recovery.

To enable shadow tracing, add a SHADOW attribute to the FASTCNFG or

FASTKCON file. To eliminate this message, delete the value of bit 1 (%40000) from the
Spooler DEV PARM attribute value.

proc-name

is the process name of the FASTPTCP process.

device-name

is the Spooler device name.

file-err

is the file-system error. See the

Guardian Procedure Errors and Messages Manual

for explanations of file-system errors.

is the shadow trace file name.

Cause.

The specified shadow trace file cannot be opened.
