PRINTSTATUS
supervisor
is the name of the Spooler supervisor process.
Cause.
The FASTP network print process received an unexpected return code from a
Spooler system procedure.
Effect.
The status of the print job and the device is indeterminate.
Recovery.
If the error persists, contact your service provider as described in
Troubleshooting and Reporting Problems
on page 8-1.
512
proc-num
is the process number (CPU, PIN) of the process.
Cause.
Because FASTP network print processes are started automatically by the
Spooler supervisor using the name configured with Spoolcom PRINT, this message
can only occur when the print process has been improperly started. The most likely
cause is the TACL RUN command was inadvertently used.
Effect.
The FASTP network print process stops.
Recovery.
Do not use TACL RUN commands for FASTP network print processes; use
the normal Spooler mechanism as described in
Configuring a FASTP Network Print
Process
on page 2-4. If the error persists, contact your service provider as described in
Troubleshooting and Reporting Problems
on page 8-1.
