FASTP EMS 512 Text Messages

proc-num

is the process number (CPU, PIN) of the process.

device-name

is the Spooler device name.

Cause.

Bit 1 (%40000) was specified for the Spooler DEV PARM attribute, but the

FASTCNFG or FASTKCON DEVICE entry did not specify a SHADOW attribute.

Effect.

Bit 1 is ignored, and no shadow tracing is performed.

Recovery.

To enable shadow tracing, add a SHADOW attribute to the FASTCNFG or

FASTKCON file. Otherwise, delete the value of bit 1 (%40000) from the Spooler DEV
PARM attribute value to eliminate this message.

proc-num

err-num

is a file-system error code or other internal FASTPTCP error code.

Cause.

The FASTP network print process could not allocate a workspace for MBCS

translation.

Effect.

Troubleshooting and Reporting Problems

on page 8-1.
