14.3 Disposing of the Instrument

Lithium Battery

Lead

Circuit board

Remove the screws (2) securing the circuit
board and the hexagonal standoffs (5).

Remove the circuit board to which the lithium
battery (back surface) is attached.

10

Lift up the lithium battery on the circuit board,
and then cut both the + and - leads with a pair
of wire cutters.
