5.1 Observing Waveforms

When measuring or displaying an existing waveform,
use the
SCROLL/CURSOR
keys to scroll.

[Highspeed]
During Roll Mode display,* manually scrolling a waveform terminates the
Roll Mode, so you can freely view any part of the measured waveform. To
return to Roll Mode, move the cursor to [Trace] near the bottom right corner
of the display, and press the
ENTER
key. Alternatively, just scroll to the right
end of the waveform to resume Roll Mode.
* About the Roll Mode display: When the timebase range divided by the dis-
play magnification results in a value greater than 50 ms, the screen scrolls
automatically so that the newest part of the waveform is always displayed.
[Realtime]
During measurement, you can freely view the waveform up until the current
point of measurement.

While measuring, you can also put the cursor on
[Trace]
(near the lower right of the screen), and
press
ENTER
to jump to the latest waveform.
Press both simultaneously.
When measuring with [Cont] set to [On] in
Real-time Function
If internal buffer memory becomes full, recording con-
tinues by overwriting the oldest acquired data. There-
fore, a deleted portion of a waveform cannot be
displayed even if you scroll backward during mea-
surement to display past portions of the waveform.
