Sequence
Background
The Sequence function is used to create high
resolution load simulations. Each Sequence can be
configured to create a unique load profile to
accurately simulate loads in real time. Sequences
are only applicable for CC (Static) and CR (Static)
modes.
Note
Sequences are not to be confused with the sequences
used to create a program. They are not the same and
cannot be used interchangeably. Sequences (SEQ
memory) cannot be used in Programs and Programs
cannot load Sequences.
Load Profiling
The Sequence function is able to simulate a load to
a high resolution. Each channel is able to change
its load sink within 25us ~ 60000s per point
independently. When used in parallel, multiple
loads can be set concurrently to simulate the loads
placed on multiple output power sources.
The diagram below shows the load profile of a
DUT at start-up.
