Method of Preparation:
"Take a mixing bowl; add butter, sugar, ¾ parts of egg, flour, essence, and baking powder and stir all the ingredi

ents to make stiff dough. Form the mixture into balls of about 1 to 1.5 inch diameter and place these on a greased
baking tray. Place half an almond (split lengthways) on each ball and press to flatten. Slightly brush with ¼ part of
the remaining egg.
