VOLUME is calculated using one, two or three Distance
measurements or one Ellipse and 1 Distance or two
Ellipse measurements.
Using B-Mode or dual B-Mode, scan the object in 2 scan
planes, sagittal and transverse, and measure the depth.
If the calculations are done in the wrong mode an error
message will appear on the left side of the screen as
ILG.

General Measurements Chapter (page 110)
for details of volume measurement and formula.

The calculation error messages and their explanation are
given in table below.
