Post Biopsy

If the exam is over:

Remove the biopsy guide and twist lock/clamp.
Remove and properly dispose of the sheath.

Thoroughly clean the probe and equipment. Re-
fer to your institution’s infection control guidelines
for disinfection/sterilization protocols.

After sterilization, return the probe to its carrying
case.
