5. Check the displayed calibrator concen-
tration settings (CP1, CP2, and CP3).
IMPORTANT:
When the calibrator concentration values are in-
correct, calibration is not performed normally.
NOTE
Refer to the “Instructions for Use” of the
calibrator.
NOTE
You can change the calibrator concen-
tration settings by tapping the [Settings]
button. In such a case, the administra-
tor password must be entered at the
Administrator password entry screen.

7. Follow the on-screen instructions to load
consumables such as slides, calibrator,
or diluent.
NOTE
The following consumables are used by
CRP calibration: diluent, tips, and mix-
ing cups. For details of loading each
consumable, refer to Chapter 5, [Load-
ing consumables].
NOTE
The CRP calibration requires at least 3
mixing cup wells. Load new mixing cups
if necessary.
8. Close the sample cover, and then lock it
with the sampler cover lock key.
WARNING:
Ensure the sampler cover is locked during sample
processing to prevent injuries and infection.
When the display reads [Ready to test], the sam-
pler cover can be opened.
