(4) Registering sample information
Tap a sample rack display to display the sample in-
formation registration screen.

Enter or select the sample information (sample num-
ber, sample ID, reference standard, and sample type),
and then tap the [OK] button

Enter the sample number using the software key-
board (Section 2.3).

Obtain order information from the host PC via a
DMS connection.


Enter the sample ID using the software keyboard
(Section 2.3).

Select a reference standard from the list.

Select a sample type from the list.

Select a dilution factor from the list.
 Refer to Section 3.6 and Section 9.3.14

Enter the registration information, and then re-
turn to the Measurement-preparation screen.

Cancel entry of the registration information, and
then return to the Measurement-preparation screen.
NOTE When the analyzer is connected to DMS, sample information can be acquired automati-
cally from the work list.

IMPORTANT:
The sample type of the sample, slide, and the sample type setting of the FDC NX700 must be same.
Otherwise, an incorrect measurement result will be obtained.
IMPORTANT:
Be sure to enter the correct sample number and sample ID.
IMPORTANT:
When measuring a low concentration protein fluid (such as urine), some bubbles may appear dur -
ing measurement in the tip. If bubbles have formed during measurement, perform the measure-
ment again from the beginning.
