9.2 Clearing Paper Jams

Paper jam at lever R1 and knob R2

The following message will be displayed if paper is jammed at lever R1 and knob R2 of the finisher.
Follow the instructions below to clear the jammed paper.

Procedure

1

Open the left door of the finisher.

2

Remove the jammed
paper by lifting lever R1
and turning the knob R2 to
the left.

3

If the paper is torn, check that no torn pieces are left in the
machine.

4

Return lever R1 to the
original position. 

5

Close the left door of the finisher.

2.  Move Lever R1 and turn Knob R2 anti-clockwise.

Remove jammed sheets.

3.  Move Lever R3a.

Remove jammed sheets.

4.

Return all levers to original positions.
Close Finisher left door.
