Kinematic viscosity of the fluid
The kinematic viscosity influences the flow profile of the fluid. The value is considered in
the profile correction.

Fluid density
The density is used to calculate the mass flow.
If the mass flow is not measured, an input is unnecessary. The default value can be
used.

Fluid temperature
At the beginning of the measurement, the fluid temperature is used for the interpolation
of the sound speed and therefore for the calculation of the recommended transducer dis-
tance.
During the measurement, the fluid temperature is used for the interpolation of the density
and viscosity of the fluid.
The value entered here is used for the calculation if the fluid temperature is not mea-
sured.
• Enter the fluid temperature. The value at the measuring point has to be within the oper-
ating temperature range of the transducers.
