Power supply
The transmitter can be operated with the integrated battery, the power cable with power
adapter (FLUXUS *608**-A2 only) or the power supply unit (FLUXUS *608**-F2 only).
7.2.2.1
Operation with battery
The transmitter has a Li-ion battery and can therefore be operated independently. When
delivered, the battery is charged with approx. 30 %. The battery does not need to be fully
charged before it is used for the first time.
The battery charge can be displayed during the measurement, see section 9.4.3 and in
the program branch

The minus sign (

) indicates that the transmitter is in battery mode and is being dis-
charged.
The number of cycles the battery has passed is displayed after
Cy:

A cycle corresponds to a charging and discharging process. The life time of the battery
can be derived by means of this value.
If
RELEARN
is displayed in the lower line and a question mark (
?
) is displayed after the
current battery charge, a relearn cycle has to be started, see section "Maintenance (re-
learn cycle)" on the following page.
This message will be displayed if the battery is almost empty:
The capacity is sufficient for the display and storing of the current parameter record. A
measurement is impossible.
