Open the Network Connections page as follows:

Locate and right-click on
My Network
Places
on the Windows (XP or higher)
desktop, then click on
Properties
.

Click on the

menu, click on
Settings
(if needed), click on
Control
Panel
to open the Control Panel window, and
double-click on
Network Connections
(Windows XP, shown below),
or
Network and Sharing Center
(Windows 7, shown below).

Access the
Local Area Connections Properties
dialog box.

For Windows XP, right-click on
Local Area Connection
, then select
Properties
.

For Windows 7, click on
Local Area Connection
to open
the
Local Area Connection
Status
dialog box, then click
