To stop the alarm
■
Alarm sound for Alarm
When the Snooze setting is set to “OFF”
Press any key to stop the alarm, animation and
i-motion. Press any key again, and the release tone
“pipip” sounds, and the animation, etc. disappears.
When the Snooze setting is set to “ON”
Press any key to stop the alarm, animation and
i-motion. The alarm message “Snooze...” appears,
then the alarm is given again at set interval (minutes).
Pressing
y
while “Snooze...” is displayed emits the
release tone “pipip”, and snooze is released.

Other alarm tones
Press any key to stop the alarm, animation and
i-motion. The alarm message remains displayed.
Press any key again to clear the alarm message (For
Timer recording, when “Activate TV w/ alarm” is set to
“OFF”).
■
When a call arrives during alarm notification
Alarm notification stops and the call is received. The
“Alarm” snooze is released.
Checking alarm content if notification
fails
If the alarm fails, the “
” (Missed alarm)/“
”
(Missed program) desktop icon appears on the
standby screen. Check the missed alarm content
(Missed alarm info) from the desktop icon.

To clear the desktop icon

Once you clear the desktop icon, you can no
longer view the missed alarm information.

reappears and the desktop icon disappears.
Reading Out Alarm Content
When an alarm is given while the FOMA terminal is
folded, pressing
@
stops the alarm, and the alarm
content starts to be read out.
z
Reading out starts only when “Info notice setting” is
set to “
ボイス
” (Japanese mode).
z
The voice may be heard by others during read out,
so move to a location where it will not disturb other
people.
z
The readout volume is determined by “Phone”
under “Ring volume”. When set to “Silent” or “Step”,
the volume will be “Level 2”. (Japanese mode)

The volume of the “Schedule” and “To Do list”
alarms is determined by “Phone” under “Ring
volume”.
z
The volume of the alarm tone during a call is the
same as “Volume”.
z
During a call, an alarm is not given in snooze
mode even when the Snooze setting is set to
“ON”.
z
Even if i-motion is set under “Alarm tone”, an
alarm is given with in alarm tone and animation
when i-motion cannot be activated, e.g. during a
call.

If “Alarm”, “Schedule”, “To Do list”, “Booking
program” and “Timer recording” alarms are set for
the same time, the priority applies:
