■ To display predicted candidates for the
highlighted reading
Highlight the candidate and press

to display
the predicted candidates for the highlighted
candidate reading.
For example, predicted candidates such as “
春
休み
” or “
遥か
” appear for “
春
”.
■ To display conversion candidates for the
highlighted reading
Highlight the candidate and press

(CHG) to
display conversion candidates for the highlighted
candidate reading.
For example, predicted candidates such as “
張
る
” or “
貼る
” appear for “
春
”.
4 Select a conversion candidate
The selected word appears
in the character entry area.

In this case, the candidates
do not contain “
らんらんと ”.

The Yomi edit mode activates, and the cursor
moves to the beginning. The “
ら
column”
characters appear in the operation guidance
area.
3 Press the dial key corresponding
to your preferred character
In this case, press

( ら ).
If a character is edited, the
cursor moves to the next
character. Use the same
procedure to edit the
reading.

Entering Chinese Text
You can enter Chinese (Simplified/Traditional) on the
mail screen, i-mode/Full Browser site screen, etc.

Chinese text can be entered using the following
functions:
• i-mode mail/Deco-mail/SMS
• Enter text/password in textboxes on the i-mode/Full
Browser site screen

• Edit header/signature/quotation marks (“Mail
Setting” - “Header/Signature”)
• Edit Deco-mail template
• Subject sort, Search subject
*: Chinese text can only be entered on a site supporting
Chinese text entry.
