Allowable characters in T9
• For numeric input mode, see “5-touch” key assignments.
• Number candidates do not appear when you enter a reading into a UIM phonebook entry or “Own
dictionary”.
• In “CapsLock mode”, all characters are entered in upper case. In “Shift mode”, only the first character is
entered in upper case, and other characters are entered in lower case. When the mode is released, all
characters are entered in lower case.
• After text is confirmed in Shift mode, the mode is released.
*1 : Switch the conversion candidate readings with dakuten “
