Executing Set Data Communication

Start DOCOMO Connection Manager
"Starting DOCOMO Connection Manager" → p.15

Click the tab of the desired connection method, and click " 接続する "
(Connect)
For details, refer to " ドコモ コネクションマネージャ 操作マニュアル " (DOCOMO Connection
Manager operating manual).
When connection is not available, check “Setting up Dial-up Network” (p.18) and “Setting up Dial-up”
(p.24).

During packet communication, a different icon appears on the FOMA terminal depending on the
communication conditions.
(Communicating, sending data)
(Communicating, receiving data)
(Communicating, no data transfer)
(Sending, or disconnecting)
(Receiving, or disconnecting)

How to disconnect
Just closing the browser or mailer on your PC does not disconnect the communication line.
When you do not perform data communication, be sure to disconnect by the following
procedure:

DOCOMO Connection Manager screen

When executing data communication by using the FOMA USB Cable with Charge Function 01/02 (optional), to
connect the PC to another FOMA terminal, the FOMA communication setting file (drivers) must be installed again.

With Windows OS, software will be automatically updated if set to do so, and you may incur high packet
communications charges without knowing you are doing so.

The communication speed displayed on the PC may be different from the actual communication speed.
