microSD Card
N-02A supports commercially available microSD
cards of up to 2G bytes and microSDHC cards of up
to 8G bytes (as of October, 2008). Visit the following
website for the latest information about supported
cards such as manufacturers or capacity. Note that
microSD cards not listed on the website may not be
operated on the FOMA terminal.

Notes on handling
z
Insert/Remove a microSD card while the power is
off.
z
Do not put a label or sticker on a microSD card.
z
Keep a backup copy of data stored in a microSD
card. Please be aware that DOCOMO is not
responsible for any damages the subscriber may
incur due to the card data being deleted, erased, or
altered.
Inserting/Removing the microSD card
Insert/Remove a microSD card while the power is off.

Open the cap of the microSD card
slot

Insert the microSD card into the
microSD card slot and push it
until it locks into the place
Insert the microSD card straight and slowly with
the printed side up.
When fully inserted, the card is locked in the
place.

To remove the card
When you push the microSD card in and
release, the card pops up slightly.
* Note that the card may fly out of the slot.
Grip the groove of the microSD card and slowly
pull the card out.
3 Close the cap of the microSD card

When you turn on the power after inserting the
microSD card, “
” appears.
* Make sure to format a card on N-02A. You may
not be able to use a microSD card formatted on
another handset or PC.

Do not insert or remove the microSD card while
the power is on. Doing so may damage the
microSD card or the card data.

Note that the microSD card may eject from the
slot when inserted or removed.
z
When you remove the microSD card, make sure
to keep the card in the supplied protective case.
You may not be able to use the microSD card if
the card is kept in another protective case.
z
Make sure to insert or remove the microSD card
straight in the right direction (inserting the
microSD card at an angle may damage the card).
z
It may take long to read or write data for the first
time after the microSD card is inserted.
