Adding Members during a

After the call is made, the
party is added to the list of
participants on the “PushTalk
talking” screen.
Receiving a PushTalk Call
<PushTalk call>
Answer an incoming PushTalk call and join the
PushTalk.

When a PushTalk call arrives, the ring tone sounds,
the incoming call lamp flashes, and the “PushTalk”
screen appears.
z
The names of the caller and
other participants who are
being paged (for a group call)
appear on the “PushTalk”
screen.

You can also answer the call with

When you answer the call, the tone beeps, and
the “PushTalk talking” screen appears.
• If the flat-plug earphone/microphone with
switch (optional) is connected, you can press
the switch of the earphone/microphone to
answer the PushTalk call.

While a call is being received, press

Even if you answer an incoming call with
“Disconnected”, you can join the call later if other
participants are still continuing the PushTalk call.

Join the PushTalk call
Go to Step 2 in “Making a PushTalk Call” (p.74)

Up to five parties including the caller can
participate in the call. New parties can be added
repeatedly until four parties are called. When four
parties have already been called, you can call a
party that did not join the call, but a new party
cannot be added.
z
A new member cannot be added while a PushTalk
call is in progress with five participants. Even if a
participant leaves the PushTalk call, a new party
cannot be added.
z
The added party will not be recorded in Redial/
Dialed calls of the caller or in Received calls of the
receiver.
z
A party using a terminal that is not capable of
adding participants can be added. The added
member does not appear on a terminal that is not
capable of adding participants, and the beep does
not sound. Also, a caller using a terminal that is
not capable of adding participants cannot add
participants.
z
When 2in1 is in Dual mode, when a member is
added using “Direct input”, the Outgoing number
selection screen appears. Select “Number A”.
