Function
The number of part support arms that can be controlled.
Description
In the default situation you require one DBT01 card with which one part support arm is
controlled with Y-brake feedback to the DM01 module.
For each extra part support axis you require a separate DBT01 control card. Two or more part
support arms can be controlled in two ways:

Synchronised. In this case all part support arms are used or are not used: together ‘On’ or
together ‘off’. The Y-brake feedback of the latest DBT01 is connected to the DM01
module. See also connection diagram dual part support as an example of two
synchronised part support arms.
Program ‘Number of units’ for synchronised control always the value 1.

Separate. In this case you can specifiy which part support arms should be used or not. To
control the part support arms separately you have to program some flags in the
sequencer program. The control data for each part support arm should be matched on a
digital output on the DM01. These digital outputs have to be connected to the DBT01
output (C18) to disable the control of the valve card or the motor drive. The Y-brake
feedback may not be connected in this case!
