4.7 Assignment of Variable Outputs
4.7.1 Principle of Operation
Up to two variable outputs can be used to provide variable ventilation. The assign-
ment allows to determine how and when these outputs are activated within the
ventilation stages. The variable outputs’ status must be specified for each activated
fan stage:
Var.
: the variable output is activated at its minimum intensity when its associated
fan stage starts. The variable fans increase in speed as the fan stage progresses.
ON
: the variable output acts as an ON/OFF output. It is activated at its full capac-
ity when its associated fan stage starts.
OFF
: the variable output is not activated.
(Refer to section 6.2.1.2 for further information on the variable outputs.)
THE LAST FAN STAGE MUST NOT BE CONFIGURED IN VARIABLE MODE.
IF THE LAST FAN STAGE USES A VARIABLE OUTPUT, IT MUST BE SET
AS AN ON/OFF OUTPUT.
