Block wheel

 

 

2. When vehicle is lifted by jack, 
place a stopper under the tire 
which is in the diagonal direction 
of flat tire to prevent vehicle from 
sliding. 

When blocking the wheel, place a 
stopper in front of front wheel or 
behind rear wheel. 

 

 

 

 

 

Unscrew wheel nuts 

 

3. Unscrew all wheel nuts of flat 
tire.

 

Before lifting the vehicle, unscrew 
wheel nuts. 

Rotate wheel nuts counterclockwise 
to unscrew them. To obtain a 
maximum torsional moment, cover 
the nut with a wrench as per the 
above figure with wrench grip on the 
right. 

Hold end of the wrench grip and pull it 
upward, be careful not slip wrench out 
of nut. 

Do not remove nut

——just unscrew 

the nut for about one and a half turn. 

FRIENDLY TIPS

 

Do not apply engine oil or lubricating 
oil on bolt or nut, thus nut will loosen 
and wheel will come off, which will 
cause severe accident. 

 
Fixing the jack 

 

4. Place jack at a correct jack-up 
point as per the figure.

 

Confirm that jack is placed on a flat 
and solid ground.
