When parking, please be sure to
tighten the hand brake firstly
before switching the shift lever to
P.As the car is parked in a slope,
releasing the brake pedal may
cause car to slightly move
downward. Please tighten the
hand brake before placing the
transmission to P (Park), so as
to avoid imposing pressure on
the parking mechanism within
the transmission when the car is
moving. In this way, you can
easily switch the shift operating
lever from P (Park) when you
need to drive the car.
Hill-start
To protect the DCT transmission,
please use hand brake to facilitate car
starting when driving in a steep slope.
Special Environment
When driving on a curve road or
mountain road or downward a slope, it
is suggested to adopt manual mode
and shift to the low gear to make full
use of the braking function of the
engine.
FRIENDLY TIPS

If the car frequently starts or
moves at a ―low speed‖ or
moves and stops with the
traffic flow for a long time,
overheat of the DCT
transmission clutch might be
caused.

If DCT transmission clutch is
overheated, the instrument will
display alarm. In this case,
transmission control module
will disconnect the clutch to
protect the clutch from being
damaged, thus making the car
unable to move. If this
phenomenon occurs, please
step on the brake pedal to
stop the car for a few minutes,
and then drive the car after the
transmission cools down for a
period of time.

Sporadic vibration is normal
for TID cars.
WARNING
 If the car still moves after the
engine is shut down and
switched to N, the transmission
will be seriously damaged due to
failing to get lubricated.

If the engine is operating and
has been switched to position
R\D\S, Please step on the brake
pedal to stop the car. The
reason is that the actuator can
still transfer power and the car
may slowly move ahead even if
the actuator is in idling mode.

To shift gear during driving,
please do not step on the gas
pedal in order to avoid accident.
 Please do not push the gearshift
lever to position R or P when the
car is moving so as to avoid
accident.

It is not allowed to drive the car
downward along the slope when
at position N or P even if the
engine stops running.

To prevent unintentional
movement of the car, please
tighten the brake after the car is
fully stopped and move the
gearshift lever to position P.
