Car Washing and Waxing
Washing of BYD Suri Cars
Wash the car in normal ways.
Wash the car immediately under
following conditions as the paint
surface might fall off, the car body and
components will corrode:
● When driving in coastal places
●when driving on the road scattered
with anti-freezing agent.
● The car is stuck with coal tar, resin,
birds droppings and dead insects
● when driving in areas full of smoke,
coal ash, dust, scrap iron or chemical
substances
● The car is stained with much dust
and mud.
Manual wash of BYD Suri
Wash the car in a place which is
shady and cool after the car body
is cooled.
FRIENDLY TIPS
Watch your hands when cleaning the
bottom of floor or chassis.
1. Wash out the loose dirt with water
pipe; clear away all the mud and salt
and alkali from road under the car and
in the hollow parts of the wheel.
2. Wash the car with neutral detergent,
mix the detergent according to the
introduction of manufacturer. Soak
the soft rag with d
etergent, don‘t wipe
the car with it by force; remove the dirt
with suds and clean water.
3. Clean soapy water completely - as
it will leave spots on car body when it
is dry. When washing the car in hot
days, clean all parts with clean water
in a right way.
4. In order to avoid water stain, dry
the car body with clean soft towel.
Don‘t wipe or press the car with force,
or the paint surface will be damaged.
Plastic trim parts for car wheels:
The plastic trim parts for car wheel are
easily to be damaged by organic
material. If there is organic material
splashed on the trim parts, clean it
with water and check whether the trim
parts are damaged or not.
FRIENDLY TIPS
Don‘t install plastic trim parts subject
to serious damage, or they may fall
off the wheel when the car is running,
leading to accidents.
Aluminum alloy wheel:
Wash the aluminum alloy wheel while
washing other exterior parts of car
body. Wash them with water after
they are cleaned by the same
solution.
There is a transparent protective layer
on the wheel to prevent aluminum
from being corroded and rusted. This
protective layer may be damaged if
inferior chemicals (including the
detergents sold on market) or hard
brush is used. The wheel can only be
cleaned by neutral detergent and soft
brush or sponge. Only neutral soap
water or neutral detergent can be
used.
