Dismantling or reloading CD host or
multimedia products, which are not
approved by BYD, may cause failure
start of the vehicle.
Operational Tips for the Audio
System
NOTICE
To guarantee normal operation of the
audio system:

Do not splash drinks on the
audio system.

Do not place any other objects in
CD slot except CD.

Do not place any other objects in
SD slot except memory card.

Do not place any other objects in
USB or AUX slot except data
cable or audio cable.

Using mobile phone in or beside
the car may cause the speaker
of the working audio system to
give out noises, but that does
not mean any fault.
Radio Signal Receipt
Radio frequency scope of FM is
approximately 40 km, and radio
signals may weaken when driving
beyond this scope; so, driver needs to
slightly adjust the radio and increase
the volume. Because line of sight
signals are used in FM, tall buildings
or mountains may hinder radio signal
receipt. All of these are normal
features and are not FM faults.
Maintenance of CD player and CD
CD player can only play CDs with
diameter of 12 cm, and extremely
high temperature may hinder the
playing of CD player. Before playing
CD in high temperature environment,
driver shall use air conditioner to
lower in-vehicle temperature. Bumpy
ground or other places with vibration
may cause skipped playing of CD
player.
WARNING
A kind of invisible laser beam is used
in CD player, if this kind laser beam
irradiates outside of the device,
dangerous radiation leakage would be
caused. Player shall be correctly
operated.
