Scrubber
Scrubber of Windshield
Check the level of the liquid storage
tank of the windshield scrubber at
least once a month during regular
use.
Where the scrubber is used frequently
in bad weather, check the level of the
scrubber liquid storage tank when
refueling the oil during parking.
The liquid storage tank of windshield
scrubber is located at the rear part of
right headlamp in the engine cabin,
take off the cap and check the level
gauge installed on the cap to see the
level of liquid storage tank.
Refuel the quality windshield washer
fluid to improve the decontamination
capacity, and prevent the fluid from
being frozen in cold winter.
When refueling the washing fluid into
the liquid storage tank next time, dip a
clear rag with windshield washer fluid
to clean the wiper blade. In this way,
the cutting edge of the blade can be
kept in good condition.
NOTICE

It is forbidden to add engine
antifreeze or vinegar-water
solvent into the liquid storage
tank of windshield scrubber.

The antifreeze will damage the
paint surface of car; the
vinegar-water solvent will
damage the wash-motor
of .windshield.
 It‘s recommended to use the
windshield washer fluid sold on
market.
Transmission oil
Manual transmission
Check the level of transmission oil
when the operating temperature of
transmission is normal, i.e. 80°C, and
the car is parked on level ground.
Remove the bolt of transmission oil
filler port, and then touch the oil level
in the bolt hole with a finger carefully.
Now, the oil should reach at the edge
of bolt hole. Otherwise, the original
manual transmission oil (MTF) of BYD
Company should be added until it
overflows the filler port, then fix the
bolt of filling port and screw it tightly.
