The stop-and-go driving will waste
fuel.

Avoid unnecessary parking or
braking.
Driving at a steady speed and in
coordination with traffic lights can
decrease stopping times to the least.
Or drive on road without traffic lights
and keep proper driving distance with
front vehicle to avoid emergency
braking, thus reducing brake wear.

Try to avoid regions with heavy
traffic or traffic jam.

Do not rest your foot on clutch
pedal or brake pedal.
This will cause wears in advance,
overheating and consumption of
much fuel.

Maintain a proper speed on
freeway.
The higher the speed is, more fuel will
be consumed. Low car speed
contributes to saving fuel.
The front wheel alignment shall be
correct.
Avoid crashing curbstone and drive
slowly on rough road.
Misalignment of the front wheel might
cause rapid tire wear, and increase
the engine load, in other words, it
means more fuel consumption.

Chassis shall be clean and free
from substances like mud.
This can not only reduce car weight,
but also avoid corrosion.

Adjust vehicle to maintain its
best working state.
Dirty air filter, inappropriate valve lash,
dirty spark plug, dirty engine oil and
lubricating oil, unadjusted brake, etc.
will affect engine performance and
waste fuel.
To maintain a longer service life for all
components and reduce operating
costs, periodic maintenance shall be
performed.
When driving under harsh conditions
frequently, more frequent
maintenance of car shall be
performed (refer to Section 6).
FRIENDLY TIPS

Do not shut off engine when
driving downward along a slope.
If engine is turned off, then
power steering and vacuum
booster will not work.

Similarly, exhaust emission
control device can normally
work only when engine is
running.
