S: Sport
— Vehicle‘s dynamic
performance at this mode is better
than that in economic mode.
M: Manual
— under this mode, the
shift operating lever can be pushed to
two gears of shifting up (+) and
shifting down (-), to manually control
the transmission gear.
Shifting up (+) - Push the shift
operating lever to this gear when the
car is under normal driving and the
shift operating lever is in manual
mode. After transmission control unit
(TCU) makes a judgment according to
the current car speed, the
transmission gear will increase
accordingly until the transmission is at
the top gear (sixth gear).
Shifting down (-) - Push shift
operating lever to this gear when the
car is under normal driving and the
shift operating lever is at manual
mode. After transmission control unit
(TCU) makes a judgment according to
the current car speed, the
transmission gear will decrease
accordingly until the transmission is at
the lowest gear (first gear).
Selection of Sport Mode
When the shift lever is at D, directly
push the shift operating lever to the
left side but not shift up or shift down.
At this time, the sport mode is chosen
and the D1, D2, D3, D4, D5, and D6
will be displayed on combination
instrument gear display.
Choosing Manual Mode
When shift lever is at D, firstly push
the shift operating lever to the left side
and then push it forward or backward.
At this time, the manual mode is
chosen and the currently used gears
M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, and M6 will be
displayed on the combination
instrument gear display.
Instructions :
1. The shift operating lever shall be at
the same position either in the sport
mode or the manual mode.
2. To turn from M to S again, switch to
D firstly and then switch to S.
3. In sport mode, the first shift
operation is generally defaulted as
switch signal for entering the manual
mode, and the transmission will not
operate correspondingly.
Starting the Vehicle
When starting the engine, the shift
lever shall be at the position of Park
(P) or Neutral (N).
Parking
To stop the car, please release the
accelerator pedal firstly and step on
the brake pedal, then tighten the hand
brake after the car comes into a full
stop, and finally switch the gearshift
lever to position P.
Notes:

When parking in a ramp way,
please make sure to step on the
brake pedal and tighten the
hand brake. Please do not stop
the car from slipping by means
of stepping on the gas pedal at
forward gear as that may lead to
overheat or severe wear of the
transmission clutch.
