Snow Chain
Snow chains shall be used only for
emergency purpose or in the
particular regions expressly stipulated
by the law.
Snow chains shall be mounted on the
front wheel; you shall pay special
attention when driving the vehicle
fitted with snow chains on ice snow
covered pavement. Some snow
chains may damage the vehicle‘s tire,
wheel, suspension and body,
therefore, withy snow chain shall be
selected to ensure enough free space
between the tire and other parts in the
wheel cover.
Please refer to and read the parts
assembly drawings and other
instructions of the snow chain
manufacturer carefully.
You shall contact the BYD authorized
service station from which you
purchased the vehicle before you buy
the snow chain and install it in the
vehicle.
You shall drive the vehicle fitted with
snow chains at the speed of less than
30 kilometers per hour on ice snow
covered pavement.
To minimize the wear of the tires and
snow chains, you shall not drive the
vehicle fitted with snow chains on the
road without ice and snow.
FRIENDLY TIPS
 The driving speed shall not
exceed 50km/h or the limiting
speed specified by the snow
chain manufacturer (whichever
is lower).
 Be careful when you are driving,
and pay attention to the
blowups, holes and sharp turns
which may cause the vehicle to
jump.
 When the vehicle is fitted with
snow chains, sharp turns or
wheel braking lock shall be
avoided, because these
operations might adversely
affect the manipulation to the
vehicle.
 Be careful when you are driving
the vehicle fitted with snow
chains, and slow down before
turning, to avoid losing control of
the vehicle, otherwise accidents
may be caused.
Lights
Headlight alignment
The headlights have already been
aligned before the new car leaves the
factory. If you often use the trunk to
carry heavy loads, the headlights may
need to be realigned.
Alignment of the headlights must be
conducted by a BYD authorized
service station or other qualified
technicians.
Replacing the headlight bulb
There are two headlight halogen
bulbs on each side of your car.
In the case of replacing the bulbs,
please hold its steel base, and do not
touch or let hard object contact the
bulb glass.
If you accidentally touch the bulb
glass, use denatured alcohol and a
clean cotton cloth to wipe it clean.
NOTICE
When the headlight halogen bulbs are
lit, they will become very hot Oil,
