FRIENDLY TIPS

 

 

Shoulder webbing should 
cross from middle part of 
shoulder. The webbing 
should be far from neck, and 
cannot easily slip off from 
shoulder. Otherwise, in the 
event of emergency braking 
or accident, the belt will not 
play the due role in protecting 
and even cause passengers 
to get seriously injured. 

 

Waist webbing shall come 
cross the hip as low as 
possible, to prevent injury to 
passengers due to abdomen 
tightened by webbing in case 
of accident. 

 

Webbing of seat belt should 
be close to body in order to 
provide better protection. 

 
Unlocking seat belt 

Press down the red unlock button on 
the buckle, latch will automatically pop 
up, and webbing will automatically 
retract. 

 

Notices 

Seat belt can only be used by a single 
person at one time. Two persons or 
more are not allowed to share a seat 
belt - even if children are not allowed. 

Avoid excessive tilting of seat back. 
When seat back is vertical, the largest 
protection of seat belt can be 
achieved. 

Do not make webbing of seat belt, 
latch, buckle jammed by door, 
otherwise the seat belt may be 
damaged. 

Check seat belts regularly. Check 
whether there are abnormal 
conditions such as cuts, wears, 
looseness, etc. or not. If there are 

abnormal conditions, please contact 
services station authorized by BYD for 
confirming and processing, before it, 
please do not use the corresponding 
seat. 

Do not dismantle, disassemble, 
modify seat belt at will. 

Ask services station authorized by 
BYD to check seat belts after accident. 
If pre-tension function is activated, 
seat belt shall be replaced. 

If serious accident occurs and there is 
no obvious damage, seat belt shall be 
replaced along with seat assembly. 

Pregnant women should also 
correctly fasten seat belt like other 
passengers, especially note that waist 
webbing should cross hip as low as 
possible, to prevent severe injuries of 
pregnant women and fetus from being 
tightened by webbing in case of 
accident.
