Server Password and Confirm
This is the
Administrator
password required for accessing the
AXIS 7100 for administration tools.
To change the password, simply enter your new password in the
Server Password
field. Repeat the new password in the
Confirm
field to check the spelling and syntax.
Notes:
Date & Time
If you are using time synchronization, specify the time zone in
which the AXIS 7100 operates. UTC is Universal Time
Coordinated which used to be known as Greenwich Mean Time
(GMT), i.e. the local time at the Greenwich meridian (zero
degrees longitude). No_DST means that automatic adjustment
for DST (Daylights Savings Time) is not included. However, the
country specific time zones include adjustment for DST.
The AXIS 7100 has a built-in real time clock with a back-up
battery which will keep the time when the power supply is
disconnected.
Automatically using the Network Time Protocol (NTP)
Click here to obtain date and time information from a time
synchronization source. Time stamps are used in the event log.
NTP Server
Specify the name or IP address of the NTP server used for time
synchronization.
• Be sure to change the password of your AXIS 7100 as soon as possi-
ble, since all Axis products are shipped with the same password as
default.
• If you lose the Server password, you must restore the factory default
settings. See “
Restoring Factory Default Settings
”on page 139.
• An asterisk * is displayed for each alphanumeric character that com-
prises the password in the Server password field of the This AXIS 7100
page.
