Adjusting the Cutting-blade V-belt
1. Open the engine cover (refer to p. 24 and 25 of
this manual) and remove the cutting-blade belt
cover.
2. Adjust cutting-height adjustment lever to the
position of “125 mm” cutting height.
3. When cutting-height clutch lever is “On”
position, adjust nut (A) or (B) so that the length
of the cutting-blade tension spring inside the
hook is 114 mm(at a center gap of 0.7 mm).
If the V-belt slips while cutting bush, make adjustment according to the procedure
below.
