Inspecting/Adjusting the Tyres
1. Inspect the tyre pressures of the front and rear
wheels on the right table, and adjust the
pressure according to the table.
2. Inspect the lug heights of the tyres on the front
and rear wheels and replace any tire of which
lug height is less than 5 mm.

If the lug height of the tyres on the front and rear is different, 4WD
may not work effectively. When the lug of tyre is worn, replace the
front and rear tyres at the same time. (AR950F)

Adjusting the Tension of the Traveling V-belt
If the V-belt slips while traveling, adjust the V-belt according to the procedure below.
1. Open the engine cover (refer to p. 24 and 25 of
this manual) and remove the cutting-blade belt
cover.
2. Turn the adjusting nut until the dimension of
the traveling tension spring inside the hook
becomes 82 mm (at a centre gap of 1.0 mm).
