How to Work

If you continue to work with the air cleaner and intake screen
clogged by pieces of bush or any other foreign substances, not only
the output will drop and fuel consumption increase, but the exhaust
gas temperature will also rise, which may cause the fuel to ignite
and bring a very dangerous situation leading to explosion or
fi
re.
Be sure to clean the air cleaner and intake screen regularly.

Don’t start the engine with the air cleaner removed. Dust and dirt
may be sucked, which causes the engine to malfunction or parts to
wear abnormally.

How to Clean the Air Cleaner and Intake Screen
Danger
1. Open the engine cover. (Refer to p. 24 and 25 of
this manual.)
2. Inspect, clean and replace the air cleaner and
intake screen according to the instructions
provided in the “User’s Manual of Engine”
attached hereto.

How to Inspect/Adjust the Ignition Plug
●
The machine is
fi
tted with a V-type, 2-cylinder engine. Always
inspect/replace two ignition plugs at the same time and do not
clean or replace only one plug. Otherwise, it may cause the engine
to malfunction.
1. Open the engine cover. (Refer to p. 24 and 25 of
this manual.)
2. Inspect/adjust the ignition plugs according to
the instructions provided in the “User’s Manual
of Engine” attached hereto.
