(3) Inspecting the safety switch for the seat
●
To ensure safety, keep the parking brake pedal in the “Locked”
position and cutting-blade clutch lever in the “Off” position.
Caution
1. Start the engine. (Refer to p. 30 to 32 of this
manual.)
2. Get up from the seat.

If the safety switch is working properly, the engine
speed will drop immediately and the engine will stop.

If the engine does not stop, make the necessary
adjustment.

How to Adjust
(1) Adjusting the safety switch for the parking brake pedal
1. Depress the brake pedal up to the “Locked”
position.
2. Loosen the bolts and adjust the safety switch
until the tip of the safety switch is pushed onto
the nut surface. After the adjustment, tighten
up the bolts to
