8. Operate the choke
9. Insert the ignition key and turn the engine
switch to the “ ” position to start the engine.
Once the engine has started, immediately
release your Hand from the engine switch.
10. Once the engine has started, return the
throttle lever to the “ “ position and warm
up the engine for 5 minutes or more.
When the engine is cold: Pull the choke fully
When the engine is hot: Pull the choke by a half
* Once the engine has started, be sure to
return the choke to the original position.
●
The engine starter motor consumes a lot of electrical current,
so avoid using it continuously for 5 seconds or more.
●
If the engine does not start within 5 seconds, return the ignition key
to the “ ” position and wait for at least 10 seconds, and then try again.
●
Don’t put the ignition key to the “ ” position while the engine
is running. The starter motor may be damaged.
●
When operator is not sitting on the seat, a safety device is activated
and the starter motor turns but the engine never starts.
●
Warming up the engine has the effect of extending the service life of
the engine, HST,etc.
Warning
●
Be sure to keep the brake pedal in the “Locked” position
while the engine is warming up; otherwise, the machine may
move suddenly and cause an unexpected accident.
