16. Secure the sway bar to the suspension mounting
bracket with the sway bar mounting brackets and
lock nuts (C). Tighten securely.

NOTE: Steps 17-20 are for the Z1 only.
17. Install the close-off cover; then with the exhaust pipe
mounting tab (B) installed to the right-side cap
screw, secure the cover with the two torx-head cap
screws (A). Tighten securely.

NOTE: On the Bearcat Z1 XT, remove the four cap
screws securing the close-off panel and account for
the exhaust pipe mounting tab (A) from the left front
cap screw.

18. Install the exhaust pipe; then secure the pipe to the
resonator, manifold, and mounting tab with exhaust
springs.

NOTE: On the turbo models, position the inter-
cooler into the grommets of the mounting bracket;
then connect the intercooler hoses to the turbo and
to the intake plenum. Tighten all hose clamps
securely.
19. To install the front bumper assembly, first secure the
bumper to the left-side and right-side panels with the
self-tapping screws.

20. Secure the bottom of the assembly to the suspension
mounting bracket with the two body screws and lock
nuts. Tighten securely; then install the hood.

NOTE: On the liquid-cooled F-Series to finalize the
installing of the front suspension mounting bracket,
proceed to Air Silencer (Liquid-Cooled F-Series 2-
Stroke) sub-section in Section 3 and follow INSTALL-
ING procedure.
Console
(CFR/Crossfire/M-Series)
REMOVING
1. Pull the recoil starter rope outward; then tie a slip-
knot in the recoil rope near the case. Slowly allow
the rope to retract to the knot.
2. Untie the knot in the end of the recoil starter rope;
then remove the handle from the rope. Account for
the cap.
3. Disconnect the wiring harness from the ignition
switch.
4. Remove the torx-head screws securing the console;
then remove the console.
