(6) -2-2. Auto mode operation
The auto mode is applied when the initial current time FST (ms) on the Welding condition setting
screen is set to 0 (ms) and the Fine Weld Mode on the Switch select screen (1/2) is set to “OFF.”

Head is a standby state at
the start position.
Start signal ON: Head
moves to workpiece surface
from the standby position

After electrode and
workpiece make contact,
torch follow-up part moves
up. After that, electrode
touch sensor is turned ON.
After that, Head stops.
After Head stops, it moves
up to the main welding
position.
While Head moves up, the
initial current is applied.
Head stops at the main
welding position.
After the end of the initial
current time (FST), the main
welding is done for the set
time.
After-flow: Argon gas output
ON
Start signal OFF: Head
returns to the standby
position.
