11.1 External Input and Output (EXT. I/O)
■
Output Signals
Output format:Photo-MOS relay output
*1
Output rating: 24 V DC, 70 mA max.
*1 When the inductive load such as solenoid and relay is used, the spike voltage generated when
driving the load may cause equipment to malfunction. Suppress the spike voltage by connecting
the surge absorber or the diode to the load.
*2
“Ready to mark” goes out during marking and when writing data to the memory card.
*3 A warning is output if the LD or crystal (Nd:YVO
4
or LBO) temperature falls outside the
appropriate range, the cooling fan is out of order, or optional temperature-compensated scanner
temperature falls outside the appropriate range.
Pin No.
Signal
Signal description
11
LD ON
On when the LD is on. Off when the LD is shut off.
12
Marking in progress
Activates during marking.
13
Ready to mark
*2
Activates when marking is possible.
14
Laser error
Activates if equipment problems arise.
15
Data error
Activates if a marking error, battery error, or memory card error occurs.
16
Strobe
Activates when the external carrier operation is permitted.
17
Warning
*3
Off when the temperature of each module is within the normal range;
on when the range is exceeded (Resets automatically.)
18
Startup ready
Activates after power is supplied when the laser is ready to be emitted.
On when the preparatory cooldown period is complete after the LD is
shut off.
21
DO common
Common terminal for output signals.
22
Count-up
Activates when the serial count reaches the final value. If a counter
reset signal is received, the serial counter is reset to the minimum or
maximum value, and the output signal goes out.
23
Remote status
Activates in remote mode.
