Serial Interface Specifications
(21) LNS (Layout selection (filename designation))
Selects the layout by filename.
t0:Filename (Designates the whole registered filename that includes the extension.)
When the specified filename has not been registered, the layout No. is not changed and NAK is
replied.
(22) MRS (Layout binary registration)
Set (write) the layout by designating the layout No. and layout filename.
t0:Layout number (1 - 1023)
t1:Layout filename (extension is ".LMB")
t2:Layout itself (binary string)
(23) GNS (Part No. searching)
Get the part No. by part filename.
t0: Part filename (Designates the whole registered filename that includes the extension.)

Example
When registering a layout as "SAMPLE.LMB" with Layout No. 1

[When using a layout file registered with MRS command on LMDraw6]
When using a layout file registered with MRS command on LMDraw6, you need to apply following
procedure.
1 Save the layout file to the memory card with SVL command.
2 Take LMDraw6 offline, then take it online again. (When LMDraw6 is already in offline, take it
online.)
3 Upload the registered layout file on the work folder from the memory card, then save it.

When a layout has been registered on the specified number, the layout is
overwritten.

Use the binary file created with LMDraw6 for the layout itself. However, the layout
including part cannot be used.

The correctness of binary data for layout itself is not checked.

When the binary data for the layout itself is incorrect, the data error occurs at
marking start.
･
Since amount of communication data is limited, up to 2 KB of data can be
registered.
･
When the filename designated in "t1": exists in the number other than the number
designated in "t0:", NAK is replied.

Part data is registered on RAM only, not saved to the memory card.
Neglecting to do this will cause the following to occur:

When you have transferred layouts from LMDraw6 to the Control Unit, layout files
registered with MRS commands will be deleted.
