 Maintenance

The Control Unit includes a lithium backup battery for clock. If this battery runs out, the time information 

will be lost when the MAIN POWER switch of the Control Unit is turned off. To prevent this, purchase a 

new battery from us and replace the battery under either of the following conditions:

•

Three years have passed since battery replacement

•

The battery error appears

Have the following items ready when replacing the lithium battery:

•

Lithium battery (new)

•

Phillips screwdriver

On the Control Unit, turn off the MAIN POWER switch on the front and the circuit breaker (main 

power supply) on the back.

Unscrew the two screws on the back of 

the Control Unit.

3

Remove the cover by sliding it back 

about 15 mm and lifting it up.

12.7Backup Lithium Battery Replacement

Follow your local environmental regulations for battery disposal, as the lithium battery 

contains potentially harmful substances.
