Interface Specifications
The emergency stop signal and the remote interlock signal are assigned on the REM. I/L connector.
To comply with the PL (Performance Level) “e” of ISO13849-1, you need to use the recommended
component in the input. For details, refer to each connection examples.
Remote interlock is dual channel input signals.
If these two inputs are simultaneously turned OFF (opened), the Head Unit safety shutter closes and
the laser error occurs, preventing marking. However, the LD remains on.
When marking, turn ON (close) these two inputs. When these two inputs are simultaneously turned
OFF (opened) during marking, the safety shutter of the Head Unit closes, the laser error occurs, and
marking stops. To cancel the remote interlock state, turned ON the two remote interlock inputs and turn
ON the error reset.
Connect this connector to the main interlock, door interlock or other similar interlocks. Connect these
interlocks in series, as necessary. The short-circuiting connector is installed on shipment.
Emergency stop is dual channel input / output signals.
To cancel the emergency stop state, turned ON the two emergency stop inputs and turn ON the error
reset.
