12.6 Desiccant Agent Inspection and Replacement

Put a packing and a new humidity indicator card. Cut the humidity indicator card as shown in the
following picture.
At this time, also replace a packing if cracked or cured.

Put the acrylic lid and tighten screws evenly with a torque of 50 cN-m in plural times.
Tighten screws in the order of number shown in the following picture.

Confirm that the packing is closely contacted with the acrylic lid.
If the desiccant agent protrudes from the case, redo the process from Step 7.

Use the same procedure to replace another desiccant agent.

Put the head cover on the Head Unit and tighten screws with a hexagon wrench.
This desiccant agent is highly hygroscopic and always absorbs moisture in a room. Not to
decrease the life time of the desiccant agent, finish the work as soon as possible (within a few
minutes).
