3.2 Head Unit

Galvanoscanner Unit
A driver equipped with a mirror. For two-dimensional laser beam scanning.
There are two specifications, analog scanner (standard) and digital scanner (option). Furthermore,
in the digital scanner specification, there is a type which the coaxial camera can be mounted on.

Safety Interlock
Prevents hazardous operations. Removing the head cover disables the LD.
This interlock is disabled in maintenance mode.

Resonator Unit
For laser oscillation. Fully dust-proof construction to protect the mirrors, LBO, Nd:YVO
4
crystal, and
expander lenses inside. Do not remove the lid of the unit or loosen the screws. Otherwise, the inside
of the unit may be contaminated and result in damage of the optical components.

Lens
Focuses the laser beam upon the marking area.
This lens keeps the scanning distance proportional to the mirror's rotation angle to keep the focal
distance consistent for all points within the marking area.

Fan
Vents heat from inside the Head Unit.

Desiccant Agent
Makes less humid inside the oscillator.
