12.6 Desiccant Agent Inspection and Replacement
A humidity indicator card is put on the resonator unit. If 20% or higher turns blue-green in color, prepare
a new desiccant agent and replace. Replace it once every 1 to 2 years as standard.
Have the following items ready when replacing the desiccant agent:

Hexagon wrench (1.5 mm)
•
Desiccant agent (new)
•
Humidity indicator card (new)
•
Packing (new)
•
Gloves (vinyl)
•
Torque Phillips screwdriver (50 cN-m adjustable)

Turn off the equipment.

Remove eight hexagon screws provided on both sides of the Head Unit with a hexagon wrench,
and remove the head cover by pulling it straight upward.

Remove six screws at the side of the resonator unit with a Phillips screwdriver to remove the
acrylic lid.
12.6Desiccant Agent Inspection and
Replacement
Since a dust-proof filter is installed, do not leave the resonator unit open. To prevent dirt or
dust from getting into the module, finish the work as soon as possible (within a few minutes).
