Installation
■
Head Unit
Refer to the following figure when installing the Head Unit.
Install the Head Unit in a well-ventilated location. Because marking may produce dust and particulates,
we recommend installing a dust collector.
Required Clearance and Mass Support:
A. Clearance on top

The optical fiber and the RF connecting cable cannot be disconnected from the Head Unit
and the Control Unit.

Ensure the bending radius of the optical fiber at the back of Head Unit and Control Unit is at
least 150 mm.

For the Head Unit unpacked from the package, insert hands from sides and support the
center part.

When moving the Head Unit (analog scanner specification), support the unit in front and
back to avoid touching the lens. Do not hold it by projection parts such as the optical fiber,
other cables, the front side of the head cover, etc. For the digital scanner specification, do
not support the unit in front. Support it the same way as at the time of unpacking.
