12.2 Part Replacement Schedule
*1 This maintenance schedule provides guidelines based on 8 hours of operation per day.
*2 Replace components at the end of their useful life or if they burn out or become defective.
*3 Extended periods of non-use will shorten the useful life of the marker.
*4 Available for the digital scanner specification only.
*5 Repeated marking in a very small area may damage the scanner bearings and shorten their useful life. We
recommend marking a wide area at least once per day.
*6 Start using the desiccant agent within three months of purchase. Since the desiccant ability decreases after
three months even if the desiccant agent is unopened, the time for replacement may be earlier. To prevent the
decrease in performance, purchase it when getting closer to the time for replacement.
*7 Standard schedule for replacement desiccant agent and humidity indicator card in each environment is shown
below.
