Starting/Stopping
the Equipment
Turn the marker on and off as follows. Startup and shutdown (and confirmation) is possible from
LMDraw6 using a computer. Confirmation is also possible from the indicators on the Control Unit.

Starting the Marker

Before starting the marker, confirm the following points:
・
The Control Unit and computer are off.
・
A memory card is correctly inserted in the Control Unit.
・
The Control Unit is connected to the computer with a LAN cable.

Turn on the leakage breaker at the back of the Control Unit.

After ensuring that the emergency stop button is released (i.e., the button is out), turn on the Main
Power switch of the Control Unit.
All panel indicators are lit and the self-diagnostic procedure begins.
7.1 Turning the Hardware On and Off
Before inserting or removing the memory card, always turn off the Main power switch.
If the Main Power switch is on when cards are inserted or removed, data may be lost
or the memory card may become unusable.
If a LAN cable is connected, always turn on the Control Unit first.
During the self-diagnostic procedure and while data is being saved, all indicators
other than SHUTTER remain lit. Do not remove the memory card, or turn off the Main
Power switch while all indicators other than SHUTTER are lit. Otherwise, the data
may become corrupted and the memory card unusable.
